Calendar Upload Utility
I took a bit of a break from the major upgrade to add the Calendar Import utility to the direct install utility.
See the Calendar Import Utility Documentation for more details.
New Template!
I have finally gotten around to putting up a new template. It has no tables, with all the page layout done in the style sheet. Thanks to http://www.fwbo.org/ for the inspiration!
There is a small problem with the month view in the calendar... I'll worry about that later...
Download version now on SourceForge
See the Install page for details.
Unfortunately, the download counter at SourceForge seems to be on the fritz, so there is no way to tell how many times it has been downloaded. The direct transfer utility has now been used over 450 times, although many of those were test runs, repetas because probles were encountered, or folks who tried it out & then deleted it.
New Server
After having problems with FeaturePrice, the site is now on a new home at http://LinkStream.net
Two more Contentor sites launched
(at least two more!)This system is still new enough for this to be exciting!!
Check out:
New menu, better formatting
I have (finally) released version 0.950 with a new Universal Menu Script that can be configured when it is called within the template. Also, the page formatting routine is doing a better job, using 'p' tags and skipping block structures, such as scrpits and tables... more details
New Launch & a Project Wrap-up
The first big test of Contentor was as the web portion of an NPR radio advertising (ahem, sponsorship) campaign... the report of the project is online at http://gauu.org/report/
SourceForge
I have set up a project on SourceForge for tracking further development of Contentor. On this site, you can report bugs, help with documentation, request support, etc., etc., etc.
Demo now active
I've thrown together a quick demo system - did it one evening, so there may be some gltiches. If you haven't already, you might want to set a template first, as the default template is simple, not beautiful.... ;-)
OK... it's getting there
I am working hard & fast to get the documentation in order... I stay too busy working on new sites to get the 'core' work done! Perhaps i need to stop adding features and not be my own beta tester!
Here's three sites that in such early stages of development that two of them are still being accessed by their IP numberes!
