Calendar Scripts

Credit for the JavaScript Popup Calendar is due to the following people:
Tan Ling Wee
http://www.pengz.com/

with inspiration drawn from another script of an unknown author who requested:

PopUp Calendar v2.1
© PCI, Inc.,2000 • Freeware
webmasterpersonal-connections.com +1 (925) 955 1624
Permission granted  for unlimited use so far
as the copyright notice above remains intact. */

The PHP calendar for events (i.e. not the pop-up calendar) was modeled on ideas from:

Simple Calendar Script - calendar.inc
Programmer: James V. Forget - jamespoppiedog.com (address no longer valid)

... with ideas gleaned from several other calendar scripts.

Database Manager

The included database manager is a highly modified version of the Molesoft Database Editor by Matt Ford - mattmattford.net http://www.molesoft.com/index.php?id=1

Paragraph formatting code

The paragraph formatting was derived from Matthew Mullenweg 'auotp' script with several accomodations for things like <script>.

This entire endeavor would have been impossible without the spirit and dedication of thousands upon thousands of dedicated, intellegent and imaginative people around the world who contribute to the Open Source Software movement. The scripting language, PHP, the database engine, MySQL and the Apache web server that typically serves it all up are some of the best examples of Open Source Software.

Additional thanks are due to my former employer, Georgia State University Division of Distance and Distributed Learning, where some of the development of this system took place. This arangement is one reason why i can make this system available at no cost. Special thanks to Carla, Donna, Stephen, Brad, Carlyon and Jeanne and all the other folks at GSU who have contributed in various ways...
