A 'raw' link, just dropped into the page: http://google.com/

A link that opens in the same window: http://google.com/

A link that opens in a new window, without checking to see if the page is valid: http://google.com/

The links on the right point to the same pages as seen on the sub menu under 'Links', with the addition of a fifth page. This type of additional set of links would be most useful for situations that need a third level of navigation or for items that otherwise do not quite fit the regular navigation scheme (i.e. if text is too long or needs some different grouping).
